#maKINGtanks

We manufacture and build bolted sheet metal tanks.

What are the advantages of bolted manufacturing?

Bolted tanks can be assembled quickly and automatically at low assembly costs; they eliminate the need for expensive welding.
Easy and economical transport to anywhere in the world, disassembled inside containers.
Bolted connections and special sealant ensure a leak-free tank. An expansion joint between the tank shell and the concrete seals the joint hermetically. Rapid delivery due to the availability of standard panels in stock.
– Virtually maintenance-free tanks.
– Flexible and standardized design for capacities between 6 and 8,000 m3
– Possibility of movement.
– No painting required.
– Easy assembly of a wide variety of accessories such as: flanged connections, manholes, vortex traps, platform ladders, sheet metal floors, roofs, special parts, etc.
– Capacities between 6 and 8,000 m3

What are the applications?

Drinking water tanks.
Process water tanks.
Biological wastewater treatment tanks.
Wastewater homogenization tanks.
Settling tanks.
Sludge digester tanks.
Wastewater aeration tanks.
Biological filter housing tanks.
Firewater tanks.
Irrigation water tanks.
Solid product tanks.
Slurry tanks.
Oil tanks.
Anaerobic digester tanks. Etc.

We build tanks according to our clients' needs.

At Tankext, we offer the following types and models of tanks:

TANKEXT BIE 12: Specifically designed for equipped fire hydrant installations where the required storage capacity is 12m³, incorporating all necessary connections as well as the option to include all accessories requested by the client.

TANKEXT BIE 24: Specifically designed for equipped fire hydrant installations where the required storage capacity is 24m³, incorporating all necessary connections as well as the option to include all accessories requested by the client.

CYLINDRICAL: Cylindrical tank for outdoor installation, made from galvanized steel, stainless steel, or aluminum sheets, with capacities ranging from 6m³ to 8000m³.

RECTANGULAR: Rectangular tank or adaptable to any space, suitable for outdoor or indoor installation, ideal for garages, low-ceiling areas, or basements with pillars, allowing pillars to be integrated within the tank. Made from galvanized steel, stainless steel, or aluminum sheets, starting from 6m³.

MASTIC: Bolted connections and special polyurethane sealant ensure a leak-free tank. The double expansion joint between the tank’s shell and the concrete seals the connection hermetically. Available for cylindrical and rectangular tanks.

MEMBRANE: Reinforced PVC inner membrane, protected with polyurethane plastic and geotextile fabric. Special neoprene seals. No need for a second internal concreting phase. Available for cylindrical and rectangular tanks.

MANUFACTURING MATERIALS FOR THE BODY

STEEL SHEETS

The standard format for all sheets used is 2,500 mm x 1,250 mm, with thickness varying based on the tank’s dimensions and calculations, ranging from 2 to 12 mm.

All sheets are processed in our workshops to achieve the desired final format, always using cold stamping machinery. The sheets have a row of holes at each horizontal end and two rows of holes at each vertical end. The holes are 13 mm, designed for M-12 bolts.

GALVANIZED STEEL SHEETS

These are non-alloy or low-alloy steel sheets, cold-rolled and hot-dip galvanized on both sides through a continuous process of immersion in a molten zinc bath. The zinc coating produced during the galvanization process enhances the steel’s corrosion resistance through both a barrier effect and sacrificial cathodic protection. This provides the advantage of maintaining protection even when the paint is damaged or the edge is exposed.

Applications:
Galvanized steel sheets are used in their natural state or painted on both sides across all industrial sectors.

Technical Properties:

  • Base Metal
Galvanized steel sheets can be supplied in the following grades:
  • Sheet type according to EN 10142 standard
  • Structural steel according to EN 10147 standard
  • High-strength steel formed hot according to EN 10268 standard
  • Mechanical Characteristics: Guaranteed minimum yield strength for structural steel.
